Denison Schools Face
Struggle with Illegal Aliens and School Lunch Costs
In an unheralded article, Steve King's
office appropriately pointed out the unspoken truth about the
children of illegal aliens and the free school lunch subsidies.
Business Manager Larry Struck said he prepared the
hand-out for the school board members because they are sometimes
asked questions about the ethnic and socio-economic enrollment.
What the numbers illustrate is that as the population of illegal
immigrants have increased in Denison, the proportion of children
receiving school lunches essentially mirrors their population.
Currently 61.2% of Denison elementary students receive free school
lunches and 8.7 receive subsidized school lunches.

Illegal Aliens
allowed to walk free outside of Atlantic, IA
A spokesperson with the Department of Immigration and Customs
Enforcement said today that his agency did not have the resources to
deal with two illegal immigrants the Cass County Sheriff's Office
released Monday after finding 95 pounds of marijuana hidden in their
van.
Cass County Sheriff Bill Sage said his office released Natividad
Valdovino Verdin, 59, and Javier Ruiz Sanchez, 49, both of Mexico,
because they needed medical attention and he did not want the county
to have to pay the bills. Sage said he was told ICE did not have
room to house the two, and he released them.
